Arthur O’Brien is a founding member of The Navigators, one of Newfoundland and Labrador’s most iconic Newfoundland folk bands. For decades, Arthur has taken Newfoundland music from kitchens and outport stages to audiences across Canada, the United States, and around the world. A powerful singer, storyteller, and entertainer, Arthur has a natural ability to bring a room together, whether he’s leading a crowd through a familiar Newfoundland favourite or sharing one of the stories that has made him a beloved performer. His connection to the audience is at the heart of every performance.
Mike Sixonate is a songwriter, storyteller, and entertainer from Twillingate, Newfoundland. Known for his quick wit, original songs, and stories drawn from life in Newfoundland, Mike creates shows that feel more like a great kitchen party than a formal concert. His performances are filled with humour, audience interaction, and the kind of stories that have audiences laughing one minute and listening closely the next. Mike has spent years touring and performing throughout Newfoundland and beyond, building a reputation for making audiences feel like part of the show.
For the first time, Arthur and Mike are bringing their songs and stories together on the same stage.
