An Evening with Danny Michel
Canadian singer-songwriter Danny Michel brings his genre-defying sound, sharp songwriting and captivating live show to Harmony Hall.
Friday, November 13 | Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM
Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and storyteller Danny Michel comes to Harmony Hall for an intimate night of music, stories and songs that refuse to fit neatly into a single genre.
With a career spanning decades, multiple Juno and Polaris Prize nominations, and a catalogue that moves effortlessly through rock, pop, folk, world and even classical influences, Danny Michel has built a reputation as one of Canada’s most adventurous and distinctive songwriters.
His musical curiosity has taken him everywhere from collaborating and touring with Belize’s Garifuna Collective to recording an album aboard a Soviet-era icebreaker in the Arctic alongside astronaut Chris Hadfield. His thoughtful songwriting explores everything from human connection and the environment to the cosmos, while his live performances are known for being as engaging and entertaining between songs as they are during them.
Following his deeply personal album Ghost Town, Danny continues to prove why he has earned such a devoted following — with sharp songwriting, unmistakable guitar playing, plenty of humour, and a live show that feels genuinely connected to the room.
Come experience Danny Michel live at Harmony Hall on Friday, November 13.
