momondays Gormley… Angela Saini, Braedon Quarles, and Rodney Whittenberg!
Songwriters turn their original work into mini one-person shows — spilling tunes, backstories, and emotional tea right in your lap!
Hosted by Michel Neray, this momondays features 3 incredible performances of songs, stories and life!
Angela Saini — How Many Times Can the Phoenix Rise?
Starting over doesn’t mean life gets simpler. Toronto Independent Music Award winner Angela Saini returns with the next chapter, bringing toe-tapping folk-pop, big sing-along hooks, and hard-earned courage. Get ready to sing it out loud!
Braedon Quarles — Is This the Right Room?
Two guitars, a fiddle, and a life on the road. With acoustic folk-soul and humour, Braedon Quarles shares the wildly unlikely encounters that opened doors he never knew existed—and the amazing things that can happen when you find the right rooms.
Rodney Whittenberg — Angels and Saints — Eros and Awe
What happens when the film you’re making cracks open your own beliefs? Emmy Award-winning composer and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Rodney Whittenberg brings songs from his documentary to life alongside the personal story of how making it changed his ideas about faith and wholeness. Rodney is based in Philadelphia, and is traveling to Toronto just for momondays!
According to Blast Toronto, we all need momondays!
